What is an echocardiogram?
An echocardiogram is simple and safe ultrasound test that uses sound waves to create moving images of your heart. It helps assess the heart’s structure, how well it is pumping, how the valves are taking and how blood flows through the heart.
It is non-invasive and does not use radiation, making it a safe and reliable way to investigate a wide range of heart conditions.
